Prep: 10 mins/Cook: 8-10 hrs.

 Ingredients:

  • 3 Honey Crisp Apples – any kind of sweet apple will work, Fuji, Gala, Golden Delicious, etc.

Instructions

  1. Slice the apples about a 1/8” thick. (I used my Kitchenaid Spiralizer to get a uniform cut).
  2. Spray dehydrating racks with oil (I use grapeseed because it doesn’t leave a “taste”)
  3. Dry each slice and place slices flat on the Ninja® dehydrating rack or Ninja Cook & Crisp™ Layered Insert. Arrange them in a single layer, without any slices touching each other.
  4. Place a dehydrating rack or Cook & Crisp Layered insert in the pot. Close the crisping lid.
  5. Press the dehydrator button. Select 135°F for 8hours
  6. If you feel you need more time, set it for another hour and check during the time. Ready when crisp.

2. Dehydrated Strawberry Jerky

Prep: 10 mins|cook: 6-8 hours

Ingredients

  •  Organic Strawberries (Slice strawberries to desired thickness. Minimum of 1/4″. Strawberries shrink significantly when dehydrated).

Instructions

  • Place the sliced strawberries on the ninja foodi basket. Its okay if the sides are touching.
  • Transfer the basket to the Pot and close the crisping lid.
  • Press the Dehydrate button and let the cycle run for 5 hours at 135oF.
  • Check regularly, and rotate trays
  • Once done, remove the basket from pot and serve the jerky.
  • Enjoy! every bite.

Just be mindful so you don’t make them too thin or they will become paper-thin and stick to your trays.

3. Crispy dried mango

Ingredients

  • ½ mango, peeled, pitted and cut into small slices

Instructions

  1. Arrange the mango slices in a single layer in your Cook and Crisp basket.
  2. Transfer the basket to the Pot and close the crisping lid.
  3. Press the Dehydrate button and let the cycle run for 7 hours at 135oF.
  4. Once ready, remove basket from pot and serve the jerky.
  5. Enjoy!

4. Crispy Flavored Banana Chips

Prep: 10 mins/Cook: 9 hrs|Serve: 2

Ingredients

  • Banana, sliced into 5mm thick
  • Lemon juice
  • 2 tsp of Cinnamon
  • Grapeseed oil (this will prevent the banana from sticking)

Instructions

  1. Rub banana with lemon juice and cinnamon
  2. Spray the racks with grapeseed oil, to prevent the banana from sticking
  3. Arrange the banana slices in a single layer in your Cook and Crisp basket.
  4. Transfer the basket to the Pot and close the crisping lid.
  5. Press the Dehydrate button and let the cycle run for 6 hours at 135 F.
  6. Check regularly, and rotate trays
  7. Once done, remove the basket from pot and serve the bananas.
  8. Enjoy the sweetness.

5. Dehydrated Blueberries

Ingredients

  • 1-pound fresh blueberries, rinsed, sorted, stemmed, and patted dry.
  • Grapeseed oil (this will prevent the banana from sticking).

Instructions

  1. Spray rack with grapeseed oil
  2. Arrange berries on the dehydrator basket without overlapping.
  3. Press the DEHYDRATE button. The default temperature setting will display. Set the temperature to 135oF.
